Working as a cook at Café Lea, you will be responsible for a wide range of kitchen tasks at the café, preparing dishes and ensuring a smooth customer experience. You will mostly work independently, but you are not alone—the Arvo team is nearby and can provide support when needed. Tasks include burger, Loaded Fries and Fish & Chips preparation, plating and quality control, customer service and sales, and self-inspection and waste management recording. Depending on aptitude, there may also be opportunities to work on Arvo’s side with lunch preparation, breakfast service and plating, buffet replenishment, self-checks and waste logging. Your shifts primarily fall on weekdays during daytime hours (Mon–Fri, 6:30–16:00), with occasional evening and weekend work tied to catering events.
