We are now seeking a Vocational Guidance Psychologist for a permanent position in Rovaniemi. As a Vocational Guidance Psychologist, you will work with clients who are considering their professional orientation, educational options, or career paths. In your work, you will assess clients' readiness, strengths, interests, as well as factors related to work and functional capacity. You will work in the Rovaniemi region employment area (Rovaniemi and Ranua), and we also provide services to other employment areas in Lapland. The work is primarily face-to-face local service; remote work is agreed upon based on need. The eligibility requirement for the position is a Master's degree in Psychology (licensed psychologist) and excellent oral and written skills in Finnish. Key tasks include: - vocational and career guidance - psychological assessments and suitability evaluations - supporting clients' education and career plans - individual and, if necessary, group guidance - collaboration with employers, educational organizations, and other authorities and service providers - documentation related to client work and drafting statements We expect from you: - interest in guidance and counseling work as well as working life issues - good interaction and collaboration skills - ability to work independently and a solution-oriented approach Experience in vocational guidance, rehabilitation, work ability assessment, or career guidance is considered an advantage.
