The craft teaching spaces are up to date in a school building completed in 2022. Our school is a multicultural unified basic education school in Leppävaara, Espoo, with excellent public transport connections. The school environment offers good sports and outdoor opportunities and diverse cultural offerings. The school currently has about 640 pupils and 70 adult staff. Our strength is good team spirit. Salary: as per OVTES and pricing for base salaries. Eligibility: The qualification for craft teacher in basic education. Teaching qualifications are determined according to the Decree on Qualifications of the Teaching Personnel (986/98). According to Section 9, an educator providing basic education must have excellent spoken and written Finnish. In temporary positions, we also consider non-qualified applicants. The position requires good cooperation and group management skills, responsible and proactive work for the benefit of the whole school community, and the ability to accommodate diverse learners in practical teaching. The successful applicant will be asked to present a criminal background check as required by the Act. We value experience in teaching S2 students.
