Industrial Firefighter

We are hiring workers for the Kilpilahti industrial area shutdown project in 2026. The role is to perform fire watch for hot-work and supervise that activities in enclosed spaces are conducted according to safety guidelines and regulations. If needed, you will assist with facility maintenance tasks. The assignment starts in September 2026 and shifts are mostly Monday to Saturday with a 10-hour shift length. Responsibilities include fire watch during hot work and monitoring enclosed spaces, ensuring site safety and compliance with safety instructions, and, when needed, assisting with maintenance tasks. We offer comprehensive orientation and the training required for the role, a friendly work community and team support, and appropriate work clothing for the weather conditions. We expect from the applicant a responsible, proactive, and energetic work attitude, good teamwork and attentiveness, valid fire safety and hot-work certificates, Finnish language skills, and own car to facilitate commutes. Salary is determined in accordance with the collective agreement and is €13.22 per hour.
