CAD Drafter for Ship Interior Construction

More information about the company is available at www.huuhkaoy.com. We are now looking for a skilled CAD drafter to join our team for ship interior construction projects in Sauvo! In this position, you will be responsible for drawing and modelling ship interior structures using AutoCAD 2D. You will turn architects’ plans into technically feasible structures and elements for ships’ public areas. You will also specify materials and ensure that the designed structures and elements meet the applicable safety and quality requirements. The work is mainly independent, but you will also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as architects, production planning and project managers. Work is carried out on weekdays from 7:00 to 15:30, primarily at Metalliasennus Huuhka Oy’s office in Sauvo. The role is central to interior construction projects, so we expect applicants to have suitable technical education, previous experience and an understanding of the requirements of shipbuilding.
