Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and development-oriented early childhood education teacher for a permanent position in a modern day care facility that is currently being renovated. New, bright spaces provide the framework for high-quality early childhood education and the opportunity to help us build a new operational culture for groups of children aged 1-5. Starting August 3, 2026, two day care centres will operate under the same roof, enabling close cooperation, peer support, and joint development. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for building the operational culture and learning environment of your children's group, planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating pedagogical activities, and supporting the individual learning of children in accordance with Espoo's early childhood education and pre-primary education plan and the child's individual early childhood education plan (vasu). This workplace is accessible. Eligibility requirement: Qualification in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). At least a Bachelor of Education degree that includes early childhood education teacher training, or a university of applied sciences degree in social services and health (early childhood education), or an earlier equivalent college-level degree, e.g., a kindergarten teacher or social educator degree (Act 272/2005 and Decree no. 608/2005). Early childhood education teachers who are about to graduate will also be considered in the application process. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the clarification of the risk of tuberculosis infection for those working with children under school age.
