• Support end-to-end procurement operations: receiving purchase requests, issuing RFQs, handling quotations, comparing prices, placing orders, and tracking deliveries.
• Coordinate logistics for incoming shipments, order follow-ups, expediting delayed shipments, and working with freight partners on customs and clearance.
• Handle invoice reconciliation and maintain accurate procurement documentation in coordination with Finance.
• Manage smaller component orders independently, building operational experience across Verda's hardware categories.
• Support vendor sourcing and supplier onboarding, researching new vendors, making initial contact, and maintaining supplier records.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag shortfalls or discrepancies to the team lead.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal teams, assessing priorities, determining the right action, and following up without being chased.

• Some experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain coordination, logistics, or a commercially oriented operations role.
• Organized and detail-oriented, you track open tasks, follow up proactively, and keep documentation clean.
• Commercially curious: you want to understand the products you're buying, the vendors you're working with, and the supply chain behind them, not just process the paperwork.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working 5 days a week in our Helsinki office.
