Sveps youth workshop is advertising a substitute position in outreach youth work from 25.9.2026 to 17.9.2027. As an employee in outreach youth work, your duties are to guide and support young people who lack employment or a place of study. You work based on the young person's needs and circumstances, supporting them in everyday and life management issues, helping them find the services they need, and preparing the young person to receive the right kind of support. The work is independent in dialogue with the young person, in close cooperation with the outreach team and other Sveps staff. As an outreach worker, you are required to have good knowledge of society's welfare services, experience in networking, and good cooperation skills. You are expected to have good competence in interacting with people in different life situations and from different backgrounds. You should have excellent knowledge of Swedish (oral and written) as well as the ability to work in Finnish. We hope that you have a university degree and several years of work experience in the pedagogical, social field, or another suitable industry. Experience working with young people is especially appreciated. To be able to perform a good job, you must have good initiative and work in a solution-oriented manner.
