We are seeking a temporary Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker for our Swedish-language bilingual kindergarten. You will work in the small group with 1–2-year-olds, alongside two early childhood education teachers. In the group, we speak Finnish, while in the bilingual Swedish groups we use Swedish. The kindergarten is a small, three-group facility run by Espoon Kielikylpy ry, which means all staff know all the children. We collaborate across groups and play outside on the same yard. The kindergarten has a large yard and is located near forests, parks, and the shore which we use as a learning environment in daily activities. As a Childcare Worker in early childhood education you will participate in a full-day pedagogical approach. Together with the early childhood education teachers you plan and implement pedagogical activities that support children's growth and development. You ensure that children and their families are met with sensitivity and you are truly present. In this role you will witness the development and joy of learning for young children. We expect applicants to have native Finnish language skills; good Swedish skills are considered an advantage. Occupational health care is arranged in cooperation with Terveystalo. We offer Edenred benefit of 400 euros/year. The employee can choose how to maintain well-being and Edenred can be used for fitness, culture, massage, commuting, or health expenses. Eligibility: In accordance with the Child Welfare Act (540/2018, sections 28 and 3–4), completion of a suitable basic education and guidance degree, social and health care basic degree or another equivalent qualification that includes sufficiently broad child care, upbringing and teaching components (e.g., child caretaker, day care worker, and assistant in child and youth care programs).
