Project Manager – High-Voltage Underground Cabling

As a project manager, you will keep projects on track from design through implementation and all the way to handover. You will ensure that earthworks and cable, electrical and mechanical installations progress smoothly, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and customers. You will also make sure schedules, material deliveries, budgets, contracts, quality and risks remain under control, even when the worksite brings surprises beyond the weather forecast. You will work on varied electricity, energy, infrastructure and industrial projects, with partners including Fingrid, regional grid companies, and industrial and data-centre operators. You will work at the heart of the electricity network and at its highest voltage levels, seeing up close how the energy transition, electrification and renewable energy production are changing the industry. Your base can be at our Lempäälä or Vantaa office, but other arrangements can also be agreed. The work includes visits to worksites and customers, as our projects are located throughout Finland. What should be in your toolbox? - Relevant education for the role (engineer or Master of Science in Technology) - At least three years’ experience leading investment projects - A background in the electricity, energy, infrastructure or industrial sector - Experience coordinating earthworks, cable installations and electrical installations - A customer-focused approach - A safety-oriented mindset - Good spoken and written Finnish and English As a person, you have a positive and proactive approach, are organised and enjoy working with different stakeholders.
