Come to the result unit of Espoo's Finnish-language early childhood education as the Head of Private Early Childhood Education, becoming part of the early childhood education management team where everyone works toward the same goal. This is a new position, and you will have a strong influence on the future of early childhood education in the capital of children and youth. The Head of Private Early Childhood Education is responsible for: - strategic, tactical, and operational management and development of private early childhood education across the city - the overall framework of private early childhood education processes and structures, such as tendering, contract management, quality management, risk management, and self-monitoring - developing Espoo's joint early childhood education in cooperation with municipal and private providers - extensive network cooperation with internal and external city partners - other separately agreed strategic early childhood education entities. Additionally, you will serve as a supervisor for experts in the private early childhood education service area, among others. You will join an enthusiastic and committed team of managers. You will be part of a professional and inspiring management team led by the Director of Early Childhood Education, where you can grow as both a leader and a developer. Eligibility requirements: suitable upper university degree The position requires: - experience in private early childhood education - experience in managing expert work and serving as a supervisor - experience in strategic management - experience in early childhood education quality management - experience in financial management - experience in preparing decision-making - knowledge of early childhood education legislation and curricula - ability to operate in networks and build stakeholder cooperation - excellent oral and written skills in Finnish, good oral skills in English, and satisfactory skills in Swedish.
