Production Director

WOTKINS - Quality on the plate! Lihatukku Veijo Votkin Oy is a family business founded in 1978, known brands are Chef Wotkin's and Wotkin's. We are now seeking a new production director for our meat unit due to an organizational change. As production director, you are responsible for the profitable and high-quality operation of the meat unit in accordance with the company's strategy. You have the ability to lead personnel in an encouraging and goal-oriented manner and build trust with your own example. You work in an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented way, and you like to follow the development of the market. Production supervisory tasks and management, as well as budgeting and OKA calculation are familiar to you. It is easy for you to communicate and cooperate with very different people and stakeholders. You will succeed in the position with goal-orientation and by inspiring people to succeed with you. Your expertise is based on a university or UAS degree suitable for the position and strong practical experience in the meat processing industry. You have experience in continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen). You understand what high quality means. Your workplace is located at the Helsinki Wholesale Market, where the company's modern production facilities and factory store are also located. The position requires active presence. We require fluent Finnish and English language skills both orally and in writing. The production director is also a member of the management team of Lihatukku Veijo Votkin Oy.
