About the role

We are looking for an occupational therapist for the Adolescent Psychiatry Research and Treatment Ward N4! Wards N4 and N5 are 9-bed youth psychiatric research and treatment wards. The wards operate around the clock, also on weekends. Now we are looking for an occupational therapist for ward N4. The job description includes individual functional capacity examinations of the youth, guidance of groups, implementation of individual occupational therapy as part of a holistic care and rehabilitation plan, writing statements and cooperation with the parents and networks of the youth. The work is carried out on the wards as reception work and as outreach activity. You will receive support for your work from our multidisciplinary team. The work is day work. The work requires professional expertise and familiarity with adolescent psychiatry in addition to occupational therapy. The occupational therapist selected for the position is expected to be motivated to use and develop occupational therapy working methods in adolescent psychiatry and be ready for independent work. To support the work of the occupational therapist, we offer good professional training and development opportunities in the HUS environment and a collegial occupational therapist community. There are 24 occupational therapists in HUS adolescent psychiatry. You have the opportunity to participate in supervision and/or mentoring. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children in accordance with the Criminal Records Act.
