Responsibilities
- Provide primary support to customers and account teams to resolve critical issues.
- Manage network/compute configurations.
- Design resilient compute architectures ensuring optimal user experience and fault tolerance.
- Develop automation/AI tools to enable scalability in compute/network/storage deployment.
- Deliver expert-level troubleshooting for complex cloud environment.
- Capacity planning to meet growing customer demand.
- Design and manage network services such as LDAP/Proxmux/Imaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise Linux environments across large-scale deployments
- Expertise in Linux, AWS Cloud, LDAP, SSSD, PAM, Slurm, LSF, HPC, Root Cause Analysis, Infrastructure Management, Performance Tuning, Identity Management, Monitoring & Observability
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production incidents
- Experience producing work breakdown structures and migration plans that minimize service disruption
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for resolving highly complex network/compute issues
- Hands-on experience building lab simulations to test architecture designs and troubleshoot compatibility issues
- Experience driving cloud infrastructure initiatives, including deployment, migration, and operational best practices
- Experience with incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement activities
- Excellent verbal/written/presentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience
- 3-5+ years of progressive network engineering and architecture experience in enterprise environments
- The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200
