Maintenance Technician

Read more at www.vikingmalt.com. About the role As a maintenance technician with us you are part of a team of 11 employees responsible for keeping our production facility in top condition. The role is central to ensuring operational reliability in our production and that production can continue without interruptions. You work closely with production staff and electricians, which provides a varied and developing everyday life. In this position, on-call duty (on call) may occur. Also work at high altitudes occurs frequently. Your main responsibilities: We offer varied work where you get the opportunity to work with both urgent interventions and long-term improvements. The role includes: Preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment in production; Troubleshooting and repairs during operating disturbances; Implementation of improvement projects to increase efficiency and reliability; Planning and documentation of maintenance actions in our maintenance system; Welding and mechanical work; Collaboration with production and the electrical department to solve technical problems. Qualifications: We are looking for you who have: Education in mechanics at high school level or equivalent; Experience in industrial production and mechanical maintenance; Competence in welding (licenses advantageous); Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing; Basic computer skills; B driver's license; Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Desirable: experience of preventive maintenance; forklift license; work with technical development projects; knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and bearing changes.
