We are seeking for our open services unit in Satakunta, AN ON-CALL INSTRUCTOR for professional support person duties in a fixed-term hourly employment contract until March 31, 2027. Perhepalvelut Ruori provides family work services and professional support person services in Satakunta. We are looking for an instructor interested in professional support person work for our team. Your job description as an open services instructor: - You will work in a client-oriented manner with children and young people in their own operating environment - You will plan and schedule your own work according to client visits agreed upon with the clients and jointly set goals - The work is mainly individual work, but may also include group-based support person work implemented alone or with a partner Professional support person work supports and helps children and young people who are clients under the Social Welfare Act or clients of open or aftercare child welfare, who face challenges in their lives and need guidance, security, and a reliable adult to find their own strengths. The goal of the service is to support the positive development, functional capacity, and daily life management skills of the child or young person. An important goal in the work is to support the child's or young person's own motivation during the work and to strengthen their self-image and hopefulness. During the support person activity, the overall situation and natural network of the child or young person are mapped, and work is done together with their family and other networks. Professional support person activity is organized regularly according to the client's needs in the client's own operating environments. The position is fixed-term hourly work, where the number of hours varies according to need. The position is suitable as part-time work. The position follows a cycle working time, which may also include evening and weekend work. The employment relationship follows the collective agreement for the private social services sector. What are we looking for? We require at least a vocational qualification in social, health, or education fields. Due to the nature and responsibility of the work, we expect at least one year of experience working with children and young people. The work is mobile, so a driver's license and the possibility to use one's own car if necessary are essential. Client visits are located in the Satakunta wellbeing services county.
