Childcare Assistant

We are looking for childcare assistants to support families in their homes in Vantaa and Kerava, Finland. Shifts are primarily after school hours, with opportunities for weekend work. Typical shifts last 2–4 hours and occur on weekdays 16:00–21:00 and Saturdays 08:00–18:00. We prefer candidates who can commit to at least one family for about 2–3 months and are open to working more hours if available. Tasks include supervising children in the families’ homes and supporting families’ daily routines, helping prevent and alleviate parenting challenges at the earliest stage. We offer pay of 16.92 €/h plus TES evening and weekend supplements, a relocation bonus if the person works with multiple families in one day, paid thorough onboarding, opportunities for regular training and professional development, first aid training, supervisor support alongside independent work, statutory occupational health care, accident insurance, and a recruitment bonus of 50 € if you refer Sivina Hoivanetti to a friend who is hired. Qualifications include a LASTENOHJAAJAN TUTKINTO or other suitable social/health basic degree (e.g. practical nurse or home helper), experience with children and families, self-motivation and ability to work independently, fluent Finnish (spoken and written), and prior experience with caring for young children.
