LEIPOMOPÄÄLLIKKÖ / IISALMI Leipomo Juuri is a company specialising in in-store bakeries, with bakeries in Riihimäki, Hyvinkää, Kerava, Tampere, Salo, Espoo, Vantaa, Helsinki, Kirkkonummi, Pori, Oulu, Naantali, Turku, Mäntsälä, Lahti, Nokia, Valkeakoski and Kuopio, and from the beginning of next year also in Forssa, Porvoo and Iisalmi. We make high-quality sourdough artisan breads and delicious coffee pastries by hand. We want to be Finland’s number one bakery as an employer, partner and provider of products to our customers. We are now looking for a Bakery Manager for our bakery at K-Citymarket in Iisalmi. In the role, you will supervise the employees at your bakery and be responsible for organising its operations and profitability. If you wish, you can also participate in product development and other operational improvement. Most of your work, however, will be baking products together with your team. We aim to make use of people’s strengths rather than trying to fit everyone into the same mould. A light organisation means less filling in reports and more discussion. You will be supported by the entrepreneur, who has over twenty years of experience in in-store bakeries, and an area manager with extensive experience supporting supervisory work and successful teams. We expect strong baking skills, experience in supervisory roles, and proficiency with systems (Excel and other Microsoft Office programs). Bakery shifts are generally scheduled Monday to Sunday between 5:00 and 18:00. Working hours: full-time, 40 hours per week (pekkanen compensatory days). Work starts in April 2027 or by agreement.
