The company is known for its high-quality work in the medium-heavy machine shop industry and operates as a customer-oriented subcontractor. The service range includes machining, welding, manufacturing of machine parts, and the mechanical assembly of machines and equipment according to customer requirements. We are now seeking an experienced plater-welder for Ulvilan Konepaja to work on diverse and demanding welding projects. In this role, you won't have to fear routine, as the pieces to be welded vary, and you will get to use your expertise in various structures and materials. Ulvilan Konepaja is looking for a long-term and reliable professional to join its team. Work begins as soon as possible by agreement. Job duties in a nutshell: In this position, you will work alongside welders and platers. You will primarily weld structural steels, but your workstation may also include projects involving stainless steel. The welding methods used are MIG, MAG, and TIG when necessary. We are looking for a professional with a meticulous approach to work and an interest in developing their skills. You are the person we are looking for if you have: * At least a few years of experience in high-quality welding * Suitable education * Valid certifications * Ability to read drawings and a precise work style * Initiative and the ability to work independently * Good cooperation skills and a desire to produce high-quality results * Readiness for 2-shift work * Fluent Finnish language skills We offer you: * Varied and diverse welding projects in a stable company * Opportunity for long-term employment * Orientation to the role and support from a skilled team * Fair pay based on your previous expertise, range approx 15–17 €/h + bonus system Are you interested in the position?
