Nalco Water, a part of Ecolab, is seeking a Water Treatment Technician to join the Mons site (Global High Tech Data Center) on a full-time basis. The role involves ensuring the proper operation of water treatment installations, maintaining performance, reliability and compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and treatment equipment. Key responsibilities include operating water treatment systems, adjusting operating parameters according to procedures, conducting rounds to inspect equipment, recording operational data, sampling water according to defined protocols, performing preventive maintenance and first-level corrective interventions, maintaining onsite and workshop equipment, monitoring chemical stocks and spare parts, supervising chemical deliveries following safety procedures, quickly identifying anomalies and contributing to their resolution, collaborating with operations teams and communicating critical information, and actively supporting Ecolab’s safety culture and HSE standards. The candidate must have technical training in electromechanics, industrial electricity, or equivalent, and experience in an industrial/technical environment. A valid B driving license is required, as is the ability to work in a demanding industrial setting and to work rotating shifts. Desired qualifications include experience in water treatment or utilities, knowledge of electrical/electromechanical maintenance, VCA certification or equivalent, authorizations for electrical activities or water treatment, and professional English (B2 or higher).
