Cashier

Tokmanni is looking for customer-oriented and energetic colleagues to join their friendly team in Kajaani. As a cashier, you will ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers. Your diverse workday includes customer service at the checkout and in the store, shelving products, planning and implementing product displays, and maintaining the store's pleasant atmosphere. A key part of the role is assisting customers with various inquiries and supporting your teammates. You will handle a wide range of products, including clothing, leisure, and home improvement items. This is a 3-month fixed-term position starting as soon as possible, with working hours of 20 hours per week. There is an opportunity to perform some of your contracted hours or take extra shifts at nearby stores. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Requirements include being of legal age, having a positive customer service attitude, good communication and collaboration skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be proactive, efficient, and able to work flexible shifts on weekdays and weekends. The job requires good physical condition and mobility, as it involves receiving and moving heavy products. Commercial education and experience in the retail sector are considered an advantage, but a positive attitude and genuine interest in retail are most important.
