Hello childcare worker! We are looking for a childcare worker for a fixed-term position at Nuumäki Day Care Centre. Our day care centre has 5 different groups. We are therefore a small unit where community spirit is emphasized. You will work in the Mörrilaakso group for 1-2-year-olds. Our day care centre strongly reflects communicativeness, commitment, and a sense of humor. If these things inspire you, you will fit in perfectly. As an early childhood education childcare worker, you will ensure together with your team that every child is genuinely encountered during their early childhood education day. A strong team effort is an important part of your work. In cooperation with other early childhood education staff, you will ensure the growth and development of every child in a positive atmosphere. You can influence the content of your own working days by brainstorming suitable activities for children together with other educators, children, and guardians. According to your future colleagues, the most rewarding part of the early childhood education childcare worker's job is seeing the children's growth and development. Eligibility requirement: Eligibility in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28, Decree 753/2018 Sections 3 and 4). A vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent degree that includes or has been supplemented by sufficiently extensive modules in childcare, education, and teaching. E.g., childcare worker, day care worker, and practical nurse (child and youth care and education training program). The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the clarification of tuberculosis infection risk for those working with children under school age.
