We are looking for a COOK to join the good food special forces to take care of the catering at the Tähti garrison restaurant in SODANKYLÄ. The army does not march on an empty stomach, and food plays an important role in the well-being of conscripts. You and all your colleagues at the Tähti garrison restaurant play a key role in ensuring that conscripts have enough energy to perform their military service. In addition to conscript meals, the lunch buffet is also set for the Defence Forces personnel. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in similar roles and restaurant industry education, as well as the ability to prepare tasty food in large quantities. You have a desire to learn new things, work well in a team, and possess a proactive and independent work approach. Proficiency in Finnish is required, as the primary working language and recipes are in Finnish. Work is available at 60-112.5h/3 weeks; we will consider your availability, skills, and wishes regarding working hours. Working hours are according to the restaurant's opening hours, Mon-Sun. Remuneration follows the MaRaTES collective agreement, 12.97-14.33 €/h, taking into account your experience and education.
