Dispatcher

Some of Europe's most interesting industrial projects are currently being built in Northern Sweden: SSAB's new Mini Mill steel plant in Luleå and the Stegra steel plant in Boden are both significant steps toward fossil-free steel production. Lifting professionals from Kurko Projects are carrying out the lifting and installation work for these projects. We are now looking for two experienced dispatchers to be responsible for the dispatching and order planning of our business in Northern Sweden. The position offers the opportunity to work in an international project organization and ensure the smooth running of lifting logistics at demanding large-scale construction sites. Core of your work: - plan and schedule the use of lifting equipment at the Luleå and Boden sites and coordinate equipment, driver qualifications, and customer needs - receive orders and change requests and integrate them into the daily and weekly plan - optimize equipment utilization without compromising safety - ensure that actuals, hour logs, and billing data are in order What we hope for from you? - experience in dispatching, transport planning, or supervision of lifting work - knowledge of lifting or heavy equipment – you know the capabilities of different machines and the qualifications required to operate them - ability to make quick decisions and prioritize in changing situations - a systematic approach to work and proficiency in using planning and ERP systems - fluent Finnish and working proficiency in English - Swedish language skills, experience working in Sweden, and knowledge of Swedish construction site practices (e.g., ID06) are considered a strong advantage The position requires the right to work in Sweden.
