Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a special education teacher for our collaborative and professional community at Kannelmäki Comprehensive School. The fixed-term special education teacher position is based at our Kanneltie site and serves grades 1–4. We operate at five sites in the green Kaarela area, close to nature. From first grade, pupils study in language-enriched Finnish-English teaching. The special education teacher provides group-based support to pupils. In addition, teaching is provided as full-time small-group instruction in individual subjects as an individual support measure. In those subjects, the special education teacher is responsible for assessment. The role includes special-education consultation through separate discussions and co-teaching during lessons, modelling and guiding. Why work with us?
