CNC Machinist

We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent position in Akaa, Viiala, through direct recruitment for our long-established, solvent, and respected family-owned client company. The position can start quickly once a suitable candidate is found. This is a great opportunity for you to be involved in manufacturing parts for various machines and equipment, as well as the company's own products, to meet the needs of client companies across several industrial sectors. Approximately 20 machinists work with modern machinery in modern and clean production facilities. The work is performed on a modern multi-tasking lathe. The parts being machined are small batches and single pieces. The parts are of a size that can be lifted by hand. Your duties include: - machining work according to drawings and quality requirements - tool changes, setups, measurements, and quality control - use of CAM software, either independently or with assistance - a robot is being introduced for part replacement, therefore previous experience with robot cells is considered an advantage. We naturally value the expertise brought by experience (turning and/or milling work), but we also consider machinists at the beginning of their careers who are eager and able to learn and develop. We also consider candidates with a good command of the English language. Thorough orientation and support from colleagues are provided for the position. The work is a weekday day shift of 40 h/week (8 h/day), from 7:00 to 15:00. The position follows the technology industry collective agreement.
