Electrical Substation Designer - Riihimäki & Helsinki

As an electrical substations designer you will be part of a team responsible for planning projects from start to finish. You will also participate as technical support during commissioning for commissioning engineers and testers, and you will have access to a network of industry experts to help you succeed. Our projects include electrical substations, data centre electrifications, and various renewable energy initiatives. We offer comprehensive EPC and ST contracts for wind and solar energy sites, substations and energy storage, and we tailor smaller packages to our clients’ needs. Your tasks will include: design of electrical substations’ various subsystems according to your expertise; design of primary and secondary systems for new and refurbished substations; participate in the testing phase or provide technical support to testers; design changes required by component replacements; provide technical support for procurement of substation components. Our designers work in hybrid mode and our offices are located in Riihimäki, Helsinki and Tampere. Note that the job requires spending the first months at the Riihimäki office to learn our processes and methods. What we expect from you: relevant electrical engineering education, at least AMK degree; over one year of practical design experience with switchgear and electrical systems; ability to work in a team; proactive and enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn; sufficient written and spoken English; good mindset for quality; we train you in our standardized process and ensure good conditions to succeed.
