Elisa's Commercial Excellence is a top-tier unit focusing on strategic customer relationships, new customer acquisition, and complex sales. The team combines strong commercial expertise with deep technological understanding (Cyber, IT, telecommunications) to build long-term growth and deliver impactful solutions. The team works closely with the core of the customer's business and collaborates with international stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager (Hunter) for a new role in Helsinki. This is an international strategic corporate sales role where you will build and grow selected top-tier customer accounts from scratch. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers and delivering impactful, often multi-year projects in a global environment, acting as a trusted partner to customer leadership. The role combines business acumen and strong technological understanding: identifying customer needs from IT, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and mobile technologies and translating them into solutions that improve efficiency, enable new business models, and generate measurable value. Your success will be visible through growing, expanding, and genuinely impactful deals on an international scale. You will be responsible for annually acquiring and developing strategically significant customer accounts, focusing on high-growth potential international clients. You will build and deepen customer relationships in a global environment, ensuring long-term, mutually valuable cooperation from top management to operational levels. You will leverage your strong technological understanding to recognize business needs and turn them into impactful solutions, including building multi-year international agreements that combine multiple technologies and service areas, implementing solutions that improve operational efficiency and generate measurable cost savings, enabling new business models or market expansion through technology, and expanding customer accounts by entering new countries, units, or business areas. Your clients are mainly in the Helsinki metropolitan area, but decision-making occurs at a global level. You will manage 15-20 carefully selected top-tier target companies, building relationships systematically from key personnel to top management. You will engage deeply with the customer's business, listening, interviewing, and providing insights and tangible value repeatedly, building trust and opening doors to impactful, expanding opportunities. To succeed, you enjoy solving complex challenges, can organize and drive tasks efficiently, and communicate fluently in Finnish and English. You are a convincing presenter and negotiator who gets things done. You have proven experience in winning large international deals, with a track record of closing significant strategic contracts (typically €15M+ TCV), managing large and international customer relationships, and building trust with top executives. You understand global business and regulations beyond European borders, and have a solid technological foundation in ICT, cyber, telecommunications, and mobile technologies. You are willing to meet clients actively in the Helsinki area. This role is suited for those who can build long-term relationships before results appear, enjoy situations where the customer does not yet know they need you, thrive on influence and trust-building, and want to win meaningful customer accounts. In return, you will act as a strategic front-runner in new customer acquisition, winning the most interesting clients in the market and directly impacting business growth. You will manage 15-20 carefully selected top companies, systematically building relationships from key personnel to top management, engaging deeply with their business, and continuously creating new value with the support of a broad service portfolio (cyber, IT, telecommunications). You will work in a small, experienced, and ambitious team that builds success together, with room for ownership and shaping your role. The expected start is autumn 2026.
