Welcome to join us at the Metsäniitty and Marjapaikka assisted living units! We are looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term substitute position. Metsäniitty and Marjapaikka are assisted living units in Muonio that provide 24-hour and community-based care and nursing. The units offer the possibility of home-like living and alternating care for elderly people who can no longer manage at home with home care services. The Metsäniitty unit has 19 24-hour residential places, 3 community residential places, and 3 short-term residential places. Marjapaikka has 9 24-hour residential places. Your role as a practical nurse in the assisted living units will be: - Nursing and care work supporting a good and functional daily life. - Implementation of safe medication management and recording of daily work. - Acting as a primary nurse, RAI assessments, client plans, and cooperation with relatives. - Planning, developing, and evaluating work. WHAT DOES THE POSITION REQUIRE FROM YOU? - A degree as a practical nurse or other equivalent previous degree, and registration in JulkiTerhikki/JulkiSuosikki (Valvira). - Fluent skills in the Finnish language. - Hygiene passport WHAT DO WE CONSIDER AN ADVANTAGE? The position is subject to a probationary period, which in fixed-term positions is at most half the duration of the employment relationship.
