We are now looking for an instructor for a fixed-term employment contract from 21.9.26-10.1.27. Welcome to Rinnekodit Hevosmies! Hevosmies is a home for 13 adults with intellectual disabilities. Our unit is located in Helsinki's Alppikylä near Jakomäki, and Malmi's services are also a short distance away. The unit is a 24-hour support housing unit where the work is mainly instructional. Residents need help with daily activities, and the care side is otherwise minimal. In Rinnekodit's services for people with intellectual disabilities, we support our clients' agency and participation in their own everyday lives. Task and its goals: As an instructor, you are in a key role in identifying the individual needs of clients and ensuring quality care. You work with a professional approach, respecting the client's right to self-determination and meeting them appreciatively. Your work includes basic care, medication, and rehabilitative support and guidance. You support clients in all daily activities. We offer good orientation and various trainings to ensure smooth work. In your work, you support and maintain our residents' functional capacity and holistic well-being. We expect from you: a practical nurse degree and Suosikki registration from the License and Supervision Agency; a social and healthcare professional card (Kanta certificate card) or readiness to acquire the card during the probation period; readiness to demonstrate medication competence by completing a medication permit within four months of starting employment; readiness for three-shift work; basic proficiency in Finnish for documentation and meeting clients. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. A criminal record extract will be checked before the employment contract is signed.
