On-call worker for the elderly at Attendo Saaristo, Kuopio – We are here for you! Attendo Saaristo is a round-the-clock nursing home located in Kuopio, in the naturally beautiful Saaristokaupunki. We have 30 resident places. At Attendo, we are 'On the Way Home'. This means we want to be, above all, a home for the elderly, disabled, and those in mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. In recent years, we have succeeded in management, customer experience, and encounters by growing both relative and resident satisfaction as well as staff satisfaction to historic highs. Every resident deserves to be met as themselves and live a full life. As an Attendo employee, you are an important part of this mission. As an on-call worker, you can work when it suits you best. On-call work is flexible and your colleagues are strong care professionals. You can choose how many shifts you do – this allows you to fit work alongside another job, studies, or family leave. Through on-call work, opportunities for longer substitutions or permanent employment at Attendo may open up. Work is 2- or 3-shift work and we can agree on the start date with you. What will you be doing? - Basic nursing care for residents - Implementing a meaningful daily routine, for example through outdoor activities and other activities What do we require from you? - Studies in social and health care (e.g., degree or student of practical nurse or care assistant). Practical nurse students must have completed at least two qualification units. - Vaccination protection as intended by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act to protect customers and patients throughout the employment period - Criminal record extract for employment relationships longer than three months - Hygiene passport or readiness to complete it within three months of starting employment - Fluent Finnish language skills, at least level B1.1.
