I am seeking more wilderness tourism professionals to join me and become part of my company Wild Adventures North and help grow its story. Wild Adventures North specializes in organizing wild adventures for a Finnish audience. With 10 years of experience, we offer authentic wilderness experiences in all their stark beauty. Experiences are planned and delivered in collaboration with a team of industry professionals. Our activities cover Finland, Sweden, and Norway’s most beautiful wilderness areas. To us, moving in nature is more than getting from A to B – it’s learning, insight, and a connection to the surrounding nature. We teach customers everything they need to know – and a little more. Our offering is the widest in Finland with 69 different treks (hiking, skiing, kayaking, running, snowshoeing, glacier trekking) and survival training. For example, customers can hike across Lapland, reach Finland’s highest fell, paddle packraft in wild waters and rapids, and take part in a commercial survival test guide by helicopter into a wilderness area for a week with basic gear; or trek the northern Norway glacier wilderness in rope-goat gear. In the coming years we aim to expand into new countries, promote to Finnish companies and families with children, and broaden the offerings to new adventure disciplines. If you have the competence and a vision to tackle one of these three goals, you could be the professional we’re looking for. Working with me means we have drawn up a contract outlining roles, duties, responsibilities, and share. You’ll be an entrepreneur invoicing my company for your services. There are multiple collaboration levels: you can be a visiting guide doing one or more trips, or you can be a fixed part of my brand’s guiding team that designs, tests, and develops new experiences. Collaboration is rewarding if you don’t want to build a new wilderness business from scratch.
