A fixed-term position for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER is available at Tuiran School for the 2026-2027 school year. The subjects taught are those taught by the class teacher. Tuiran School operates at two locations: Matti Hällin kuja 3, grades 1-9, and Merituuli unit at Kauppaseurantie 2, grades 1-6. Qualifications are determined according to the decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. Original certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during a possible interview. In addition, a qualification as a special class teacher is required. It is advantageous to have the ability and willingness to act as a developer of the learning support legislation model in grades 1-6 at Tuiran School, in collaboration with another special education teacher, special class teachers, and class teachers. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for the education sector. Before the appointment is confirmed, the selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the decision, present a criminal background check issued in accordance with law 504/2002, section 3, concerning working with children.
