A fixed-term position as a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER for BASIC EDUCATION is available at Tuiran School for the 2026-2027 school year. The subjects taught are those assigned to the class teacher. Tuiran School operates at two locations: Matti Hällin kuja 3, grades 1-9, and Merituuli unit at Kauppaseurantie 2, grades 1-6. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). Original certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during a possible interview. In addition, a special class teacher qualification is required. It is considered an advantage to have the ability and willingness to act as a developer of the legislative model for learning support in grades 1-6 at Tuiran School, in collaboration with another special education teacher, special class teachers, and class teachers. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for the education sector. Before the appointment is confirmed, the selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the decision, present a criminal background check issued under the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002), section 3.
