Project Engineer in Concept Design with a central role in designing and developing new vessel concepts. Responsible for leading development of ship concepts with support from other concept-design specialists and design teams, ensuring the final concept meets the customer requirements and project rules. After the concept phase, follow through to implementation to ensure the customer receives a vessel that performs as agreed. Tasks include coordinating concept-design projects, developing and evaluating technical solutions, managing schedules and work packages, coordinating cross-disciplinary collaboration, and providing technical support to customers and partners. We expect a suitable university degree (e.g., Diplom Engineer or Engineer), experience in technical projects or shipbuilding, strong project management and organizational skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, fluent Finnish and English, and strong communication skills. Desirable: experience in shipbuilding, marine industry or large technology projects; understanding of vessel systems and concept-design processes.
