About the role

**Do you want to design hardware that doesn't just stay on a desk, but flies, moves, and operates in all weather conditions as part of future autonomous solutions?** We are now looking for an innovative and solution-oriented **Electronics and Mechanical Designer** (**Hardware & Mechanical Engineer**) for RumbleTools' growing product development team to be responsible for the holistic hardware design of our intelligent drone, sensor, and robotics systems, from circuit boards to physical enclosures and mechanics. **Key responsibilities:** - **Hardware and mechanical 3D design:** You will design the physical structures, enclosures, and moving parts of our devices (e.g., Drone-in-a-Box stations) using modern 3D CAD tools, taking into account weather resistance and weight constraints. - **Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and integration:** You will be responsible for the electronics design layout, component selection, and the seamless integration of electrical components into the device's mechanics. - **Prototype construction (Hands-on):** You will build, solder, 3D print, and assemble the first testable prototypes in our product development laboratory in Imatra. - **Testing and diagnostics:** You will test the functionality, vibration resistance, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the finished devices in real-world operating environments.
