We are currently seeking an HVAC Estimator for a permanent position at Putkiwuorio Oy. In this role, you will be responsible for the calculation and preparation of HVAC contract bids for commercial and office renovation projects as part of an experienced project organization. Putkiwuorio Oy is a family-owned HVAC company founded in 1934, known for its high-quality workmanship and long-term customer relationships. The company employs approximately 80 people and operates primarily in the Helsinki metropolitan area. JOB DESCRIPTION As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the calculation and preparation of HVAC contract bids for commercial and office renovation projects. Your work will involve reviewing requests for proposals, calculating material and labor costs for projects, and tendering for necessary subcontractors and suppliers. You will independently manage the overall estimation process and ensure that essential costs, work phases, and other factors relevant to the project are considered in the bids. You will work closely with the rest of the project organization, particularly the production manager, including reviewing bids together before submission. In this position, you will also have the opportunity to participate in project implementation. Depending on your skills and experience, the role may include site visits and monitoring the progress and practical implementation of projects. The job description can be expanded toward project management based on your experience and interest. WE HOPE FOR * Education in the HVAC field and previous experience in estimation. Experience in leading HVAC projects is considered an advantage. * Understanding of the overall HVAC contracting process and what project implementation requires in terms of labor, materials, and subcontracting. * Good IT skills and the ability to adopt various calculation and ERP systems. * Systematic approach, initiative, and an independent attitude toward work. * Good cooperation and communication skills. * Fluent proficiency in Finnish and English skills for site communication. Previous experience with commercial or office renovation projects and working with HVAC projects is considered an advantage.
