Your work is meaningful every day – you will support our residents' good daily lives and build a safe, community spirit. As a daily companion: - Support residents in daily skills, such as daily activities, cooking, cleaning, and errands - Provide psychosocial support and genuine, encountering conversation help - Ensure the implementation of medication therapy - Prepare and implement individual implementation plans together with the resident and the team - Monitor and evaluate residents' functional capacity - The work also includes everyday chores, such as heating food, doing dishes, and other home care matters As a community builder: - Plan and guide group activities (e.g., exercise, creative methods, and social skills) - Utilize your own strengths and interests in your work - Strengthen community and create a safe, caring atmosphere As a network influencer: - Cooperate with relatives, authorities, and partners - Guide and support residents in applying for services - Participate in the development of IMO matters and involve residents in decision-making As a quality assurer: - Record customer data carefully and keep it up to date - Report smoothly to the team and, if necessary, to authorities As a safety maintainer: - Meet challenging situations calmly and ensure safety - Cooperate with emergency services and crisis services if necessary With a rehabilitative approach: - Support residents' resources and participation - Practice daily skills together with them and strengthen independence The position is full-time and valid until further notice. The work is 3-shift work, and we can agree on the start date, but the start is in autumn 2026. What do we require from you? - Practical Nurse degree - Specialization in mental health work and/or previous experience - Vaccination protection as referred to in Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act to protect customers and patients throughout the employment relationship - Hygiene pass or readiness to complete it within three months of starting employment - Fluent Finnish language skills - Criminal record extract for employment relationships longer than three months (when working with minors, elderly, and disabled) - Sote professional card (certificate card) - Driver's license - Humor and boldness!
