Malmi Children's Home in Helsinki is seeking two instructors (practical nurses) for permanent positions starting October 5, 2026. The roles are located in special-level units at Fallpakantie and Jäkäläpolku, serving children aged 7-17. The work involves supporting children's daily lives, including school attendance, leisure time, social relationships, and independence, based on individual needs and the therapeutic institutional education principles of THL. Instructors work in multidisciplinary teams alongside other practical nurses, social workers, and nurses. Key duties include acting as a primary instructor (omaohjaaja), implementing and evaluating care and education plans, network cooperation, and client documentation. The role requires a proactive approach, strong interaction skills, and a commitment to the well-being and safety of the children. This is a shift-based three-shift work arrangement.
