Personal Assistant

Would you like to work in personal assistance at Spesio? We are looking for a warm-hearted person who wants to do meaningful work with our clients. A positive attitude and social skills are more important than formal qualifications. We are looking for a physically fit person who is ready to go outdoors in all kinds of weather to work as an assistant in Saario, Tohmajärvi. The client is a man of about 70, and assistance focuses on mobility in nature, hiking and campfire trips. Assistance visits take place 2–3 times a week and last two or three hours; the preferred start time is 11 a.m. or noon. Occasionally, the client also uses respite care, when assistance includes light household chores. We promise you the opportunity to do your work well and with respect for the client; a workplace where you can confidently be yourself; support from your immediate supervisor; and varied duties. Employment terms follow the collective agreement for private social services. The pay grade is G16A, or €13.20–€14.51 per hour depending on years of service, plus supplements under the collective agreement.
