We are now looking for a geriatrician for Myyrmäki in Vantaa. What does the work of a geriatrician in Myyrmäki involve? At the Myyrmäki units, you will provide varied patient appointments for geriatric clients. The work consists of scheduled patient appointments, primarily with private clients. The structure and length of working days, appointment durations and more detailed boundaries within the patient group can all be tailored to your preferences. The work can fit your everyday life: you can work occasional appointments at different locations in the evenings and weekends, or regular daytime hours at one unit, according to your wishes. In addition to occupational health services, our unit offers a broad range of general practitioner, specialist physician and laboratory services. It is conveniently located in the Myyrmanni shopping centre in Myyrmäki, with easy access from several directions, including by public transport. Memory care nurses also support geriatricians and other specialists across the Helsinki metropolitan area. Their duties include memory tests and functional capacity assessments as well as guidance, counselling and training. In addition to medical support, your designated physician and specialist coordinator, Johanna, will make your work easier. She will help you plan your work and take care of your orientation to Terveystalo, our systems and the location, ensuring that your day-to-day work runs smoothly and that you can focus on your core expertise. There is currently a need for geriatricians not only in Myyrmäki but also at other units in the Helsinki metropolitan area, for example Kaari in Helsinki and Leppävaara in Espoo. You can work flexibly part-time or full-time, as an employee or as a self-employed practitioner. We can help you choose a suitable working arrangement if needed. Why work at Terveystalo?
