Cadpool seeks an electrical automation designer to join our team in the Helsinki region. The role involves both logic programming and electrical design for plant design and equipment development, and takes place in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Emphasis of the work content will be determined based on the candidate’s skills. We expect: over 5 years of experience in electrical automation, strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical solutions, ability to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written), suitable education in electrical and automation engineering (engineering degree or master’s), knowledge of international standards, experience with modern design and calculation software such as ePLAN, E3, Comos, Cadmatic, NEPLAN and 3D software, experience programming Siemens, Beckhoff, ABB or other commonly used devices. Bonus: experience with HMI/SCADA, CAD design and electrical schematics, knowledge of industrial fieldbus technologies (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherCAT), ability to set and manage drive parameters.
