Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a fixed-term Food Service Supervisor for the Porvoo Parish Union for the period 1.11.2026-31.10.2028. Food Service Supervisor - is responsible for coffee and other supplies in common break areas, as well as equipment in shared kitchen facilities - handles wholesale orders for the parishes' self-service events, including reception, storage, and transport to the correct location - acts as the contact person for food service framework agreement suppliers and is responsible for the smooth cooperation and quality monitoring - acts as the contact person for cleaning service providers regarding kitchen facilities and is responsible for the smooth cooperation, quality monitoring, and the hygiene and instructions of the kitchens regarding parish operations - is responsible for the implementation and development of the parish union's environmental program regarding kitchen and food services - may prepare small-scale refreshments for appropriate events and assist in cleaning up after self-service events - develops the concept of the Porvoo Parish Union's food and kitchen services together with the management of the parishes and property services during the option years, and participates in the potential tender required for a new concept when the option years end - other tasks assigned by the supervisor. The supervisor for the Food Service Supervisor is the property services foreman. The working time is KirVESTES general working time of 38 h 15 min per week. Work is mainly on weekdays but includes evening and weekend work as needed. A 3-week cycle working time is used. The remuneration for the position is in demand group 403. The basic salary is 2714.88 €/month. In addition, experience-based bonuses and performance-based bonuses may be paid in accordance with the church's official and collective agreements. We expect the selected candidate to have a suitable professional degree or equivalent work experience and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both national languages. A driver's license and a hygiene passport are essential for the performance of the duties. Work begins on 1.11.2026 or by agreement.
