Construction Assistant

Hello applicant interested in the construction industry! We are looking for energetic general assistants for construction sites in Tampere for our client company. Part-time work is available, but there is currently a high volume of work, and full-time opportunities may become available in the future. The role involves hauling work, which is an important support function on a construction site. In practice, the work involves moving and transporting construction materials, tools, and supplies to different locations on the site to ensure that the actual construction work proceeds smoothly. The work is very physical and active, so good basic fitness is a significant advantage in this role. What does the position offer? Starting hourly wage 14 €/h Employment contract approx. 10–40 h/week or 20–40 h/week depending on your situation Working hours generally follow the construction site schedule, approximately 7:00–15:30 (occasionally, for example, 8:00–15:00) Travel expense reimbursements according to the construction industry collective agreement Half or full per diem for potential travel work A pleasant and close-knit work community where new employees are supported Start date during August 2026 What do we hope for from you? An energetic and proactive approach to work Good physical condition Reliability and punctuality Previous experience in the construction industry is not essential. The current team consists of people from very different backgrounds, so a good attitude and a willingness to work are most important. Having your own car makes it easier to travel to different sites, but Tampere locations are often accessible by public transport. It is a plus if you have experience or interest in home appliance installations, as these may be available to some employees in the future. Interested?
