We are looking for a principal for the special school Outamo for a fixed-term employment from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Outamo school is a special school for young people of middle school age placed in Outamo children's home in Helsinki. The principal leads the school's activities according to city strategy goals, manages pedagogical activities and finances, and is responsible for personnel management, results, and quality of operations with the school's management team. The principal also leads stakeholder cooperation and collaborates with other principals in the region, considering strategic priorities. The school is located in a scenic environment in Lohja, with two special class teachers and two teaching assistants. The staff of the school and the children's home work closely together daily. Each student has the opportunity to study at their developmental stage and personal prerequisites at their own pace within their resources. The school's operations are guided by the principle of respecting each other and the environment. We expect the person chosen for the role to have good interaction and cooperation skills.
