Cold Kitchen Cook

Have you dreamed of working in a cafe with a great team in a youthful student environment? Great! We are looking for a cook for the design and preparation of cold foods for the student cafe at Metropolia's Myllypuro campus. You will work in our cafe kitchen preparing daily filled sandwiches, salads, and other cold cafe products. Additionally, you will prepare refreshments for meeting coffees and various catering events. Metka Cafe is the cafe concept of the student union METKA. We operate at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences' Myllypuro and Arabia campuses, providing high-quality cafe and catering services to Metropolia students, staff, and external customers. Our operations are very customer-oriented, without forgetting smiles, quality, and student budgets. We want to be a relaxed meeting place for our customers - their own living room on campus. We offer the opportunity to work in a flexible, relaxed, and youthful work community where you can influence your own work and participate in developing the cafe's services. Experience in the field is a plus, but the most important thing for us in an applicant is an open, cheerful, and energetic attitude and a desire to work with people in a cafe. We require all applicants to have a hygiene passport, Finnish language skills, and the ability to work independently. Professional education and previous work experience in the cafe/restaurant industry are considered an advantage. Working hours are on weekdays from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 13:30. Occasionally, work may also be at the Arabia campus.
