Project Manager

We are seeking a project manager / site supervisor for furniture installation projects in Southern Ostrobothnia. In this role you will oversee project progression, coordinate activities, and monitor quality and timelines in collaboration with clients, subcontractors and installers. The position is a project-based assignment with a defined target to be confirmed later. The employer has several tender processes underway and is preparing for future project starts in the Southern Ostrobothnia region. Responsibilities include coordinating furniture installation projects on site, tracking installation progress and ensuring schedules, quality assurance via site visits and inspections, collaborating with clients, contractors and installers, participating in project meetings, solving on-site issues, documenting and reporting on projects and ensuring information flow, handling administrative on-site tasks, inspections and recordings. Working hours are primarily day shifts, with flexibility required to accommodate project needs. We require building trades education; a building foreman qualification is a strong plus. Experience from construction site supervision, coordination or project management is valued; knowledge of furniture installations, interior construction phases or similar projects is an advantage. Ability to manage timelines and multiple work stages simultaneously; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and solve practical problems; a proactive, responsible, calm approach under pressure; and Finnish language fluency with English being a plus. We offer a temporary project position with a responsible role in construction projects and a competitive salary (about 4,000 €/month depending on experience). The employment relationship follows the Puuteollisuuden toimihenkilöitä koskevaa työehtosopimusta. The role provides a chance to utilize both construction and furniture installation expertise and to grow in project leadership and coordination tasks. Start as agreed, as soon as a suitable candidate is found and the project commences.
