Temporary Teacher Substitute

Mäntsälä municipality is recruiting short-term substitutes for its schools. The position opens at Mäntsälä’s educational services, where the focus is on serving children and young people, with a shared goal of well-being, pedagogy, and a safe learning environment. We are looking for people to fill substitute roles in the municipal units, including class teachers, subject teachers, and school attendance supervisors, with longer substitutes announced separately on the municipality’s website under Open Vacancies. In addition to qualified professionals, students and others interested in the field may be employed for short-term substitutes. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide a police record in accordance with law 504/2002. Note that work is offered irregularly and with short notice. After submitting the open teaching application, the applicant is registered in our electronic recruitment system. You will receive a username and password by email, or if you did not provide an email in the application, the credentials will appear on the screen after submitting the application. You will need the credentials to access the electronic calendar and to update your application. We will contact you to arrange an interview time and during the interview we will also guide the use of the electronic calendar and determine in which units you wish to work. After the interview you can start using the electronic calendar and, once you have filled your calendar, we will send you job offers by text message on preferred days.
