Lapland Staff is looking for cooks (buffet) and kitchen helpers (buffet) for the Christmas and winter season 2026-2027, for Lapland Hotels Catering. We are also looking for two cooks for the whole season. Lapland Hotels Catering cooks and kitchen helpers work in the Lapland Safaris private restaurants Kaamoskammi and Revontuli Court. Kaamoskammi has 96 seats for guests and Revontuli Court 84. The job is mainly lunch service and some evening events and catering for our international guests. The work includes the preparation and presentation of cold and warm food served from the buffet, as well as cleaning the kitchen. The work environment is international, and our working language is English. The Christmas season is a busy time, so we expect you to be ready to work in a busy environment with a positive attitude. The cooks working for whole winter season, we expect to be able to work independently, to hold a hygiene passport, and to have a Category B driving license as well as the ability to drive in winter conditions. In addition, please note that in order to work in Finland, EU-citizenship/passport or valid working permit to Finland is required. Please read more under the job advertisement. The employment relationship is a fixed term seasonal contract according to the Collective Agreement for employees in the hotel, restaurant, and leisure industry. The work starts on 23.11.2026 and lasts until the end of December 2026 or March 2027. Cooks' salary starts from 13,70 €/hour (gross) according to the demand group 4 of the salary scale. A kitchen helper's salary is according to the demand group 1 of the salary scale, starting at 11,97 € hour (gross). Work will be done also during weekends and public holidays. Sundays and Finnish bank holidays are paid double. Accommodation is organized in shared rooms, with reasonable rent in comparison to the local price level.
