We are looking for a new colleague as a Safety Specialist to develop and maintain Patria's occupational health and safety system as part of the work safety team. The specialist ensures that our occupational safety activities comply with Finnish laws, regulations, EU directives, and the guidance of local authorities in their area of operation. The specialist's work is mainly on-site. Work is primarily carried out in Linnavuori, Nokia and in Tampere. In the position, you are responsible for promoting the practical operation of occupational safety in the production environment in close cooperation with the line organization, occupational safety managers and various stakeholders of the site. Your key tasks include processing and analyzing occupational safety observations, carrying out risk assessments and commissioning inspections, investigating accidents and promoting preventive measures. You actively participate in promoting measures according to the OHS annual plan and developing occupational safety metrics and reporting. In addition, you support the implementation of the OHS manual, design and implement occupational safety training and communicate occupational safety themes, campaigns and development targets in the organization. What kind of expert are we looking for? You have experience in occupational safety tasks, preferably from a production or industrial environment. You understand the everyday life of a production environment and can act naturally in cooperation with the line organization, staff and various stakeholders. You are active, proactive and bold in developing operating methods and putting observations and measures into practice. You have a clear communication style and the ability to train, guide and inspire staff in occupational safety matters. We expect from you: Knowledge of occupational safety legislation and requirements and the ISO 45001 standard Ability to act with all personnel groups, authorities and occupational health care Willingness to move between Patria's different sites in Pirkanmaa.
